The Three Tuns was re-opened in November 2010 by Chris Smith.

Chris Smith, the new owner and Chef began his career at Paris House where he trained under the late Peter Chandler, he went on to work for Jean Christophe Novelli for a number of years and then progressed his career further by gaining 2AA Rosettes in 2010.
